St. Gaspar Nursing School, Itigi, Singida, REG/HAS/090, Private institution with full registration, Singida. Its train nurses in order to produce adequate number of skilled and competent human resources to provide the much needed health services. The training conducted in a manner that include competence in all aspects (theoretical and practical including spiritual needs) to meet the requirements of the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), Ministry of Health and Social welfare (MoHSW), Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council (TCNM) and Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC).

St. Gaspar School of nursing provide two types of course
1. Ordinary Diploma in Nursing –pre service for 3 years
2. Diploma in nursing (upgrading) – in services for 2 years
Programme duration
1. Ordinary diploma in nursing – pre services
The whole program has a total of 132 weeks of study, which are divided in six semesters. Forty four (44) weeks are set aside for theoretical training and 88 weeks are designed for clinical practice.
2. Diploma in nursing-in services
The program lasts for two (2) academic years, there shall be 4 semesters in total, each academic year shall constitute two teaching semesters. One teaching semester will last for 21 weeks.
