Muhimbili School of Midwifery, Dar es Salaam, REG/HAS/101, Government institution with full registration, Dar es Salaam, Candidacy.It has the objective to meet the expanding needs for nurses over the prevailing health problems in the country.To prepare nurses who can work on multipurpose basis as general nurses and nurse midwives and distribute them throughout the country in health center, dispensaries and hospitals.
Programs Offered
The main services offered by the school of nursing is the clinical area. Although the students are learners in the nursing field, there is a considerable amount of needed service rendered by the student nurses. Students rotate almost inalunits/departments of the hospital and cooperate well with the nursing staff and doctors in the wards, thus providing a helping hand in patient care needs
