CERTIFICATE COURSES (NTA 4)
1. Basic Technician Certificate in Local Government Administration
2. Basic Technician Certificate in Local Government Accounting and Finance

DIPLOMA COURSES (NTA 5&6)
1. Ordinary Diploma in Local Government Administration
2. Ordinary Diploma in Local Government Accounting and Finance
3. Ordinary Diploma in Community Development
4. Ordinary Diploma in Human Resource Management

These courses are meticulously designed to suit qualified candidates who work or intend to work in Local Government Authorities, NGOs e.t.c
1. The minimum entry qualification for Basic Technician Certificate in Local Government Administration (BTCLA), Basic Technician Certificate in Community Development(BTCCD), Basic Technician Certificate in Human Resource Management (BTCHRM) shall be as follows:-
(i) Ordinary certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or its equivalent with at least four (4) passes of grade “D”
(ii) If and where necessary candidates shall be required to sit and pass the Institute’s Competitive Admission Examination (CAE).
2. The minimum entry qualification for Basic Technician Certificate in Local Government Accounting and Finance (BTCLF) shall be as follows:-
(i) Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or its equivalent with at least four passes of grade “D”, two of which shall be of Mathematics, Book-keeping or Commerce;
(ii) If and where necessary candidates shall be required to sit and pass the Institute’s Competitive Admission Examination (CAE).
3. The minimum entry qualification for Ordinary Diploma in Local Government Administration (DLA), Ordinary Diploma in Community Development (DCD), Ordinary Diploma in Human Resource Management (DHRM), shall be as follows:-
(i) Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or its equivalent having a minimum of 2.0 points with at least one principal pass in relevant subjects OR
(ii) Relevant or equivalent Certificate passed by at least Second Class level from Local Government Training Institute or other recognized learning Institutions.
(iii) If and where necessary candidates with PASS at certificate level shall be required to sit and pass the Institute’s Competitive Admission Examination (CAE).
4. The minimum entry qualification for Ordinary Diploma in Local Government Accounting and Finance (DLF) shall be as follows:-
(i) Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or its equivalent having a minimum of 2.0 points with at least one principal pass in Economics, Accountancy, Commerce or Mathematics. OR
(ii) Relevant or equivalent Certificate passed by at least Second Class level from Local Government Training Institute or other recognized learning Institutions.
(iii) If and where necessary candidates with PASS at certificate level shall be required to sit and pass the Institute’s Competitive Admission Examination (CAE).
