Njuweni Institute of Hotel, Catering & Tourism Management, Kibaha, REG/ANE/016, Private institution with full registration, Pwani, Candidacy. Njuweni Institute of Hotel Catering and Tourism Management is one of the hospitality training institutions in Tanzania. The college is located in Coast Region, Kibaha District at Maili Moja on Morogoro Road 40km From Dar Es Salaam city. The Institute was officially opened on February 2000 and Registered by VETA on 30th January 2002 to conduct certificate courses in hospitality Industry.
The institute later on accredited and registered to run Diploma Courses on Full time registration category by the National Council for technical Education (NACTE) via Reg no.REG/ANE/016 of 23rd February 2007.
Currently the Institute provides Certificate and professional knowledge, skills and change of behaviour and attitude towards customers in the tourism and hotel operations.

Entry Requirements
Candidates wishing to be enrolled at the Njuweni Institute to pursue the Various Certificates and Diploma programmmes have to fulfil the general minimum entrance requirements as well as the additional entrance requirements specific to each academic programme. If you want to be admitted to certificate programmes of study offered by Njuweni Institute, you must apply to enter into the Institute at NTA (National Technical Award) Level 4 and NTA Level 5.
Admission Requirements for Certificates Programmes
NTA LEVEL 4
An ordinary certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE) with passes in 5 subjects, plus passing the qualifying test of the Institute.
Other qualifications A certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE) with passes in 3 subjects, of which one must be English, plus 3 years working experience in hospitality/tourism industry, and plus passing the qualifying test of the Institute.
OR VETA NTA Level 3 qualification, plus passing the qualifying test of the Institute.
NTA LEVEL 5
An ordinary certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE) with passes in 5 subjects, plus passing the qualifying test of the Institute.
