Azania College of Management (ACOM), Dar es Salaam, REG/BMG/021, Private institution with full registration, Dar es Salaam, Candidacy.The main objectives of Azania College of Management include, inter alia, the following:- 1. To carry on the business of provision of quality education in Tanzania. 2. To provide secular education to the public without discrimination. 3. To conduct examinations, confer degrees and award diplomas and certificates as approved by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). 4. To conduct researches and consultancies in differentfields and disciplines. 5. To promote and support good causes and giveassistance to charities of all types without discrimination. 6. To propagate the struggle against the HIV/AID pandemic through seminars and workshops.
Programs Offered
Programmes of Azania College of Management (ACOM). At present ACOM has two departments:-
1.0 Department of Law:- 1.1 Diploma in Law (DLA) – Two Years. 1.2 Certificate in Law (CLA) – One Year. 2.0 Department of Accountancy:- 2.1 Diploma in Accountancy (DAC) – Two Years. 2.2 Certificate in Accountancy (CAC) – One Year.
3.0 The Minimum Entry Requirements for the Courses are as follows:
3.1 Diploma in Law (DLA) 3.1.1 Possession of an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least ONE PRINCIPAL LEVEL PASS. OR 3.1.2 Possession of an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least TWO SUBSIDIARY PASSES OR 3.1.3 Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least FIVE PASSES (“D”s or above) OR 3.1.4 Certificate in Law obtained from ACOM or any other recognized institution OR 3.1.5 Any other equivalent qualification which may be considered and accepted by ACOM’s Senate.
3.3 Diploma in Accountancy (DAC) 3.3.1 Possession of an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least ONE PRINCIPAL LEVEL PASS OR 3.3.2 Possession of an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least TWO SUBSIDIARY PASSES OR 3.3.3 Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least FIVE PASSES (“D”s or above) OR 3.3.4 Certificate in Accountancy obtained from ACOM or any other recognized institution OR 3.3.5 Any other equivalent qualification which may be considered and accepted by ACOM’s Senate.
3.4 Certificate in Law (CLA) 3.4.1 Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least THREE PASSES. 3.5 Certificate in Accountancy (CAC) 3.5.1 Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least THREE PASSES.
