Advanced Paediatric Nursing School-Moshi

Advanced Paediatric Nursing School, Moshi, REG/HAS/076, Government institution with full registration, Kilimanjaro, Candidacy.KCMC School of Advanced Paediatric Nursing started in 1990 as a continuation of an upgrading course in Paediatric Specialty for Nurses with a Certificate in Nursing, which existed from 1980. In 1994 the programme was changed to an advanced Diploma Course in Paediatric Nursing. It is the only one of its kind run by the Ministry of Health and Good Samaritan Foundation.

Entry Requirements
The course admits both sex, national and foreign students.
National Student’s Requirements
• Passed form IV/VI Tanzania Certificate of education
• Diploma in General Nursing
• Two years working experience in Nursing service
• Physical and mental fitness
• Interest in Paediatric Nursing
• Pass an entrance examination

• Curriculum Vitae
• Transcript from last Institution
• Recommendation from employer
• A statement of funding from donor
• Completed Secondary Education Certificate
Admission
Admission takes place in October of the second year of every intake.
Fees
• National Students
o Government employees 200,000.00 T.Shs. per year
o Non-government employees 400,000.00 T.Shs. per year
• Foreign Students
o First year – US $ 2990.00
o Second year – US $ 3825.00
