Madini Institute, Dodoma, REG/EOS/011, Government institution with full registration, Dodoma, Full.It located Mbwanga Area, Miyuji Ward, Along Arusha Road, near Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP).It has the vision of aspires to become a centre of excellence in East and Central Africa sub-region in training of mid-cadre personnel and professionals in the mineral sector.And mission of aims at training of mid-cadre professionals and offering research and consultancy services in the mineral sector through adequate, competent and well-motivated staff.

The Institute conducts training based on NTA level programmes which are:-
a) NTA Level 4: Basic Technician Certificate.
b) NTA Level 5: Technician Certificate.
c) NTA Level 6: Ordinary Diploma.
Admission and Applications
Application
Application for admission to the course commencing in August each year has to be made by filling formal application forms from March. Advertisements for the application are made in the local press. Applications can only be considered if they include full details of the applicant’s personal and educational history and enclose copies of National Certificates of Education and any other relevant certificate/testimonial supporting the qualifications stated. Applicants must channel applications through their employers, parents or other sponsors to confirm their sponsorship. All applications addressed to the Principal must reach the Institute not later than 10th May, 2010. Formal application forms will be available from February each year at the Institute (MRI), Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST), all Resident Mines Offices and Zonal Mines Offices across the Country and at the Ministry of Energy
Enrollment
The Institute is able to enroll 70-80 students in its first year intake. The applicant can be selected to join the Institute in the 2nd or 3rd option course depending on competition of the 1st course applied. The selected students can be allowed to change the course of study during 2nd week after registration.
Regulations
NTA Level 4
Certificate of Secondary School Education (CSSE) with a minimum of “D” Grade in Mathematics, Physics, English, Chemistry and Biology/Geography or National Vocational Technical Awards – NVTA level 3 in science/engineering programmes or :Equivalent
NTA Level 5
Admission to the programme will be open to candidates, who possess a Basic Technician Certificate (NTA level 4) or equivalent in the applied course from any recognized institution.
NTA Level 6
Admission to the programme will be open to candidates, who possess a Technician Certificate (NTA level 5) or equivalent in the applied course from any recognized institution.
